Some updates coming one day

Been workin' on this game for quite a bit. A lot has changed from my initial game jam submission. The whole ability system has been redone. I originally had this idea that each character would have 3 abilities. 1 - evade type, 2 - crowd control type, 3 - ultimate. But then I realized it was dumb and changed it. It is now more like ESO (Elder scrolls online) except in mine, it will be more like 1 default ability (swing/punch/shoot arrow/ magic splooge and stuff), 3 abilities (any kind),  and 1 ultimate. So far, i think the default ability is almost ready. It can chain to different default abilities. I don't think the gif is showing, but I have it do punch. punch, kick. But it can be changed around to be like, kick punch, or kick kick punch etc.  Here's a video I posted on twttr: https://twitter.com/iAreDrw/status/1242151542406270983 with sounds and stuff. There's a frame canceling window like in fighting games where you have to press during that window to transition to the next. It kind of works at the moment. You can see when you mash, the attacks come out fast, but you can also time the attacks to be slower.

Much of the animations, icons, particle effects and stuff are all placeholders. Not really sure what to put there yet. The leveling system will be similar (if not completely copied) from the dark souls series where you kill things which turns into currency that can be used for leveling or buying things.

I am not sure when to release a demo of this. I am assuming maybe in like five months if I am lucky. If I happen to work anywhere, I would say more like 100 years. It is starting to look more like the action rpg I've envisioned.  Butthere's still a lot more stuff I need to learn to get the ball rolling. Anyways, when the demo does get released, so will the source code on my github if you are into that.

Cheers.
